How Big Is Your God

After going through so many obstacles it seems that I would know how to maneuver without being stumped, AGAIN!  Do you ever feel this way?  If so, I challenge you to ask yourself the question I believe the Holy Spirit asked me, "How big is your God?"  The Bible reads in Luke 1:37 that nothing is impossible with God.  That means He can handle whatever comes His way.  How much God do you have in you?  As a Christian, I shouldn't keep making the same mistakes, I should learn from my mistakes and take a different road.  I should be able to go through the obstacles God's way and come out victorious.  So how do I get there and continue to move forward and not get stumped?  It's all in knowing how Big God really is.  It's one thing to say "oh I'm blessed and highly favored" but it's another to know I'm blessed and highly favored.  I know it because I spend time with God and I know His promises for my life. I know He won't put more on me than I can handle (we love to say this), but I know when I pick up more than I can handle I need to put it down.  I know the Bible says if I resist the devil he will flee (we love this too), but I also know that I must submit to God and resist the devil he will flee.  The devil ain't scared of us quoting the word, the power comes when we live the Word.  Acts 19:10-16 clearly shows that there's no power against the enemy when the Godly authority is exercised unworthy.  Some want the power and anointing for the wrong reasons.

Acts 19:10-16

New International Version
10 This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord.
11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

Playing with God and they got a beat down, that's what jumped on them and overpowered them means.  Well let's learn who God is, so we will know that no matter how Big our problem is, God is WAY BIGGER.
