Unconditionally Love the one who wrong you.....

That's tough right?  I know it is.  Have you ever had someone that is just doing you wrong.  Maybe your mother, father, sibling, baby mama, baby daddy, ex wife or ex husband.  Someone that you must have communication with, not just an old friend that you may never see again.  Well that person comes and ask you for prayer, or just wants to talk to you.  Something that we should be doing for them anyways according to Luke 6:28 (New International Version (©1984) bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.)
We are to be Christ like so that means we should unconditionally love the one who wrong us.  Jesus laid down His life for us yet we are so unfaithful. (1 John 3:16-18 ESV reads:  By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.  But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?  Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.).  I'm not saying we should die for someone, or even be walked over by someone.  But we need to put away our foolish stinking thinking and look beyond their faults and see their need.  They need forgiveness, and some may need salvation.  God expects us to show and demonstrate love, not only with our mouth but help a brother, sister, mother, father, or even an ex spouse in deed. And with the love and kindness in our deed we can draw them into the kingdom of God. (Jer. 31:3)  It might take some time and we may not even see them once it happens, but they need you and don't forget someone had to draw you too.

Angie, thank you!!!

This goes out to my friend Angie.  We went to school and graduated together and we really haven't been in communication with one another at all.  But I saw her at my job and got her phone number and after about a month I finally called her.  Well she and I talked and realized that we both love Jesus and have grown into mature women of God.  Oh boy have we come a long way.  Anyways Angie said something that was very encouraging to me, something that really made me realize that I need to get my act together.  She told me that she use to log on the social network tool just to read my blogs daily.  She said when she needed encouraging she would go on knowing that she would receive a word from God.  She asked me to please don't stop because she looks forward to the blogs.  I am a minister for God and when I started this I was on fire, making it my business to share God's word. Could it be that I had positioned myself in a backsliding position?  Have I given up on being the witness that God wants me to be?  God forgive me and bless my dear friend Angie.  Thank you Angie, for being your "Sistahs Keeper" and please be a thorn in my side.  I need you....God Bless.

SISTAH, You're a Diamond In the Rough.....

King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.) Prov. 31:10
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Do you know your worth?  I sometimes get in a funk and wonder why I even try sometimes.  It seems like I always miss the mark.  Things happen that I should be spiritually mature enough to understand or figure out and I mess it up.  I seem to mess up spiritually, physically, and emotionally (if that is even possible)  I feel like giving up sometimes. In tears, ready to step down and then the Spirit of the Lord gently whispers to me "SISTAH, You're a Diamond In the Rough".  The devil wants you to feel like you are nothing, that what you do is all in vain like nobody loves you.  But snap out of it and realize that just like a diamond, you're kinda rough around the edges and things don't look good to you or even others but once God cuts away the irregularities and polishes you all up, then you and others will see the beautiful and precious valuable person that God has created you to be.  It takes work to get to that beauty, a diamond doesn't start out as the beautiful gems that we see in the stores.  They start out looking like a big ugly cloudy rock, oh but once the diamond cutter cuts all that stuff away, and shines it up...viola-it's beautiful and valuable.  So don't give up, let God cut off the stuff that needs to be taken away and let Him polish you up.  Just like in the physical realm a cut hurts, so the more stuff needing cutting the more painful it will be, but once it's done your value will shine.  Now if you are getting this to God be the glory, but this is for me.  The pain that I feel because I am being chastised or because I am learning or growing is for my own good.  To some it may seem small, but because Satan prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (NIV 1 Pet. 5:8) I gotta be alert and don't get caught up in feelings.  Thank you Holy Spirit, I love You.  Have a Jesus filled day...

Kids These Days Are Street Wise YOUNG!!!

Luke 16:8

New Life Version (NLV)
8 Then the rich man said that this sinful boss had been wise to plan for himself for the days ahead. For the people of the world are wiser in their day than the children of light.

Some of our kids are so street smart that if we don't stop being so heavenly minded, we won't be any earthly good for them because they will outwit us.

Andrea (my 1st born) has a friend that has twin girls in kindergarten and yesterday they decided that they would switch classes.  They were not discovered until half way through the day, when one of the teachers called the little smart twin to her desk to talk to her and discovered the mark on her face wasn't there.

Now I've met these little beauties and they are indeed a handful and I knew they were smart, but I had no idea they were this intelligent.

I have a little niece myself that is only 4 and on Christmas her mom told me she opened her little black cabbage patch doll and commented "Santa must not of read my letter".  And I gave her some socks and she opened the box and told me "I'm a size 5".  What....Too Smart, is that even possible.

We as parents better raise these children the way God says to raise them and open our natural eyes as well as our spiritual eyes so that we can keep up with what's going on.  Because a weak parent is no match with a Street Wise kid.

2012 and still trusting God!!!

Hello everyone, it's been a while I know and I must say that I have to repent because I had given up on my writing and all my situations.  I guess I had given up on believing that God's promises are "yes and amen".  I can't be discouraged and I must not faint.  I sin when I doubt.  My pastor was speaking from Matt. 17 about "Mustard seed faith" and the way he explained it really touched my spirit.  Yes mustard seeds are small so little faith is all we need, but mustard seeds are also pure, and our faith without doubt is pure faith.  That's the mustard seed faith that I need to make sure I keep trusting God that He will open the right doors and close the right doors.  That even though His time is not my time, keep trusting that He is in control.  I have got to know that ain't no mountains moving while I have doubt in my heart.  Well it's 2012 and I am still trusting God.  I'm not perfect, and I let flesh get in the way a little but I'm back on the right track.  Please pray for me as I will for you.  God loves you and so do I.  I pray you have a Happy, Holy New Year.

God's Ruby in the Rough!!!

It's time people, God is getting ready to bless me mightily and I am humbly ready to receive these "Blessings".  I finally sent 3 songs off to a new record label and I am trusting God to give me favor with these anointed people of God.  "He Knows" just what I am going through right now, I am constantly "Prayed Up", I continue to give Him a "Crazy Praise", and even if this particular label doesn't sign me, I know that "There's A Blessing Behind Close Doors", so I'll still "Hold On" and say to God "Have Your Way".  Thanks for following everyone and never ever forget "What He Did" to bring you to the place you are at with Him right now and know that as long as you continue to follow Him, it is "Good".

You're Starting to Look Like Mess....

Why do we think that we can hang out with someone doing wrong, they know they are wrong, and don't care if you know it or not.  They have no respect for the God you serve or the relationship you have with God, but we still associate ourselves with them thinking their mess won't affect who we are.  The Bible tells us this in 1 Corithians 15: 33 (NKJV)
Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
That means I can not hang out with some of my old friends because they haven't transformed, I can't hang out with some of my new friends because they haven't transformed.  You hang with mess you get mess in you, mess get in you mess coming out of you and you start looking like mess.  We do need to be witnesses to people and be a light to win others over to Jesus, but once we realize they are content in their corrupt lifestyle let them go before your good habits turn evil.
