Thank You Jesus!!!

I Just Wanted to tell You Thank You this morning Jesus.  You are so good and You are good all the time.  I really appreciate You and how much You love me.  I love You too Lord.  Be with me today and lead me and direct me in the directions You want me to go in and close doors that I want to go through that You do not want me to enter.  Lord I am available for You, in all that I do I want You to get glory and be exalted.  Thank You again for EVERYTHING.  I believe that You are taking me to another level and I rest in Your peace as You move me into position to receive what You are preparing me for.  Thank You Jesus, I love You.

Can't Give Up Now!!!!

Think about all you have been through.  It's easy to give up and say "this must not be what God wants for me" but have you really tried and worked at it before giving up?  It is true that sometimes we miss God and step out in areas that He hasn't directed us to go in, but if He has directed us and we are not putting work to our faith we end up giving up.  In John 5:8 and Mark 2:9 Jesus saw faith in action, and then he told them to work (pick up your bed and go).  We have got to put our faith in action, stop being lazy, and get to work.  Can't give up now, I know that this is what God has given me and I have scriptures to prove it.

We can agree to disagree.....

with anyone but God.  Sometimes I wonder why it's so hard to get someone to understand what I'm talking about when it comes to the things of God, but then the Holy Spirit reminds me that my head was hard as a brick once too.  (and still is sometimes)   We as Christians can not make people convert, they have to want to make a change.  We can't make them believe the way we believe, they have to want understanding and want to see the light.  What we must do is win them over with loving kindness, the same way Christ has drawn us.  The Bible makes it clear in Prov. 28: 9 that anyone that turns his ear from hearing the law, even his prayers shall be abomination.  Now you and I both know the first words that come out of EVERYONES mouth when danger arrives is "Oh my God", so give the Word to unbelievers with loving kindness and give it to Christians that haven't had the privilege to sit under a Bible teacher like Pastor JMAC with loving kindness, because if they want their prayers to be heard before it's too late, they'll be calling you for wisdom.  They can disagree with me all they want, but to disagree with God is FOOLISH!!!  Speak not in the ears of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.  Prov. 23:9

331/2 hours of pain can become so.....

BEAUTIFUL!!!  24 years ago I gave birth to Miss Andrea, my first born and such a blessing.  I am so glad that God turned that mess into a blessing.  I mean I was a teen, having sex (fornicating) and just plain stupid.  My daughter is totally opposite than who I was at her age and I know it's because I raised her to love the Lord.  I am honest with my children and that honesty helps them see the real me, yeah mommy messed up too, but now she ROCKS!!!  (As Jurnee would say)

Happy Birthday Pooh (Drea my Pooh, I love you)

It's Okay....

To praise God with dance and music, as long as God gets ALL the praise and Glory!!!  Why do people have the spirit of Michal (jealous spirit) when others don't do things the way they do it.  I know a many of churches that would think that I am not fit to be a Minister of the Lord, just because I think it's okay to dance and that rap music is okay in church.  I know it's okay as long as God gets the glory.  David danced in 2 Sam 6:12-16, and Miriam danced in Exodus 15:20, her and her girls.  As long as it's not a praise from the wicked, which is an abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 15:8) and the praise is from the upright, which delights Him,  It's Okay.....
And I looked it up people and rap is defined  >a style of popular music, developed by disc jockeys and urban blacks in the late 1970s, in which an insistent, recurring beatpattern provides the background and counterpoint for rapid,slangy, and often boastful rhyming patter glibly intoned by avocalist or vocalists.(dictionary.com)
If words that glorify God can be put in a beat to make you bop your head and snap your fingers, then you're glorifying God with your fingers and your head.  To God be all the glory, forever and ever amen.  So stop judging and get with the program, the energy used to be negative about what someone else is doing could be used to Praise God with a dance, because It's Okay....

Being a good friend...

I took the day off yesterday.  Spent time with a good friend.  When it comes to being a good friend, no one can be a better friend than Jesus.  John 15:13-15>Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.  You are My friends if you do what I command.  I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business.  Instead, I call you friends, for everything that I learned from My Father I have made known to you.  To me He is a good friend because He laid down His life so that we could live ours, that goes without saying.  But what stands out to me is that Jesus also said here that everything He has learned from the Father, He's made known to us.  A good friend gives knowledge, why do I call it knowledge because He says we know the master's business.  It's got to be knowledge.  As we study the Bible and obey it things are revealed to us more and more.  It's called growing...A good friend helps you grow.  Praise God Almighty.  I want to be a good friend, I don't want to say a lot of foolish things to my friends, I want to give them knowledge.  God loves you, and if you haven't already given your life to Him as your personal Lord and Savior please take time to do so, this is your call.

Working For The Lord....

That's the attitude we should have always.  We should have that attitude on our jobs, at church, and everywhere we are no matter what we are doing.  I remember when I worked for the local newspaper in classified as a telemarketer once I had met my quota for ads I didn't call another number.  I would just sit at my desk and work on anything but newspaper work.  I recall one day counting how many birds flew by with fish from the nearby lake, and one day my niece Vicki passed by and I called her and told her "I see you at the light by the civic center" and she just laughed at me.  I am laughing at me right now, that was awful.  The Bible lets us know in Colossians 3:23-24  that "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.  It is the Lord Christ you are serving."  WHAT!!!  That's right, if God has blessed us to have a job we need to give it 100%.  That means stop gazing out the window and pretending you're calling clients, stop sitting outside for 20 minutes on your 15 minute break.  Usher as if you were ushering God to His seat, clean the church like God Himself asked you to clean Heaven (which I'm sure isn't dirty but you know what I mean).  No matter what we are working on, we should work on it as if we are Working For the Lord.  We can not allow our feelings to get us all puffed up even if we know we are being treated wrong by a boss, it's not for them it's for God is the attitude to have.  I think we need to pray...Dear God, thank You for grace and mercy, forgive me Lord for not doing as Your Word says and working 100% at the work You have blessed me with, I appreciate it and now that I know better I will do better.  In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.  God Loves You..

Valentine's Day

Iyana said that today my blog should be about Valentine's Day.  So maybe she is associating that day with LOVE, so I'll blog about God's Love.   For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16  God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to us, and all we have to do is believe in Him, keep His commandments, strive for perfection, seek Him and we won't burn eternally in hell, but we will live eternally in Heaven.  Nuff Said right?  Not according to Iyana she wants me to put her cheesy poem in here.  Poem by Iyana:
                                            Hearts are red
                                            candy is blue
                                            Do you like cards
                                            well I do too.
Well tonight is family night so see you all tomorrow, well I won't actually see you but you know what I mean.  We have to listen to Andrea and Jurnee read so she (Jurnee) can test tomorrow.  I think Iyana and I will go play Wii.  Greedy Te' is sleep, maybe we'll go bother him for fun.  Have a wonderful day.  God loves you.

Bible Study is always, always, always interesting at Friendship Full Gospel Baptist Church.  Tonight we discussed "Our Relationship With Abominable Things".  Way, way, way, too deep for me so you got to come to visit if you want to learn about it.  If you have some free time, it's worth coming and learning.  See you  Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.  God love you.

God's Wrath

I remember my daddy use to make me so mad when I would do something stupid he would pull out his Bible and tell me what thus says the Lord.  I remember daddy telling me once if you'll steal, you'll lie; if you'll lie, you'll kill.  I promise I wasn't trying to kill nobody, but Daddy's madness made me want to not steal, or lie because if I did that somebody was gonna die (at least that's what I thought back in 1987). Now I'm the parent making my kids mad with my Bible. My son Devonte' asked me "Why does everything have to be spiritual?"  You see I tell my kids that "When you don't do what you are told you are opening the door to a rebellious spirit."  Devonte' said "Ma, I just forgot", and although he may have just forgot (he's only human) I still tell him everything is spiritual, and once you put your guard down the enemy slips tiny things back in. Like if you use to steal, the Devil knows you aren't going to the store with your buddies and shoplift anymore, so you start taking office supplies from work, and try to justify it by saying "they owe me this, hard as I work".  And if you use to fornicate, the enemy knows that you got too much pride to get caught in that (well some really don't care now days) but some wouldn't want to risk not being able to usher anymore, teach Sunday School or do praise and worship, so he puts thoughts in your mind about someone and if you don't resist those thoughts quick and repent you'll begin to either have evil desires or  a spirit of covetousness.  Well I said all of that to say, not putting the flesh to death is a sure way for us to cause the wrath of God to find us.  We need to seek the Kingdom of God, and let go of earthly memories.

Colossians 3:1-7 (New KJV)

1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. God is Real, His Word is Real, His WRATH IS REAL!!!  I love you.

God does not show favoritism......

God's Word is what MLK Jr. had a dream about...I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. (MLK Jr.)
The Bible lets us know that God does not show favoritism, He is not prejudice, and Galatians 3:26-29 lets us know that in Christ Jesus we are all children of God through faith.  All races, male and female, if we belong to
Christ, we are Abraham's seed.  We need to love like God and get rid of prejudice in our hearts.  We may say we aren't prejudice but think about it long and hard.  How do you treat someone not of the same race?  How do you treat the opposite sex?  Do you call people racist names?  Do you treat people bad that don't have money like you?  (Here are some scriptures to help: James 2:1, Acts 10: 34-35, Galatians 2:6, Romans 2:11 and Romans 15:7) Pray and ask God to touch your heart and to take away anything that doesn't please Him, and mean it.  I am praying right now, because I don't want any negativity from me to flow down to my children.  I love you ALL, and have a Jesus filled day.

Today with Iyana

Well I sat to blog today and my baby girl is demanding my attention.,  So I'm going to watch "Big Time Rush" with her.  I took a nap and she couldn't get me up so now she's trying to get me to watch t.v.  I told her that as soon as I was done with my blog, we would play.  She said to me "didn't Pastor preached today about putting Family First".... Out of the mouth of babes AGAIN!!!  She hears what she wants to hear, and she keeps me on my toes.  God please don't let it be like "iCarly".  Sometimes you have to take a break from the routine and show the kids you are interested in the things that interest them.  Here goes.  Have a blessed and wonderful day.

My Pride, My Fall......

Have you ever been so wrong about something, but had too much pride to admit it or to even listen to someone trying to tell you the correct way.  I know I have before.  I mean too much pride to say I'm sorry, and ladies you know how we play that "I'm not saying it first game".  Well it seems small but it only opens the door to destruction.  Seeking humbleness for me was the way to forgive others and myself.  Saying sorry, or help, or no I don't know the answer was the way for me to get off the road to destruction.  Have you ever fussed at your kids about something and been wrong?  I told mine "even when I'm wrong, I'm right."  That's so not true, I have had to share some humbling moments with my children so that they could see that God's word is true for everyone, even mommy.

Proverbs 16:18-19 (Amplified Bible)    18Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. 19Better it is to be of a humble spirit with the meek and poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Being humble is the only way.  God said if His people who are called by His name would humble themselves, seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, then He will hear from Heaven and forgive their sins and heal the land.  Being humble is the start to turning from our wicked ways, and seeking after God.  Then comes forgiveness and healing.  God bless and I love you.

Sacrifice and watch an Amazing God Move

God never, never, ever ceases to amaze me.  I feel like Manoah and his wife in Judges 13, the woman was childless and the Angel of the Lord came and told her she would bare a son (Samson) and he would be dedicated to God from the womb.  Anyways you have to read the entire chapter for yourself, it's so amazing.  But what really, really, caught my attention is that when Manoah sacrificed something to the Lord, the Lord did an amazing thing. Here is vs. 19: (NIV) Then Manoah took a young goat, together with the grain offering, and sacrificed it on a rock to the Lord.  And the Lord did an amazing thing while Manoah and his wife watched.  This story brings chills down my spine, I'm so excited.  Every time I am down to my last God ALWAYS shows up.  And although I know that He will, I still stand in awe at His works.  It amazes me because He uses who He wants to use to bless His people.  Sacrifice is key, your time, your money, your talents, (it all belongs to God anyways).  Oh how I love God and love to taste and see that He is good.  Thank you God for being so AMAZING.

Wait I Say On The Lord...

For how long?  Until you ain't waiting no more. (LOL)  I'm sorry but I had to go there for me.  We want what we want when we want it, but God has been waiting for us to get it together seems like forever.  I know that I have to remind myself that God's time is not my time.  God has reasons for making us wait for certain things, we may need to mature more physically and spiritually.  And if that's the case then we wouldn't be able to handle it responsibly and either mess it up or it'll mess us up.  Father knows best!!  We should feel the same way David did in Psalm 25:3-5 (Amplified Bible) 3Yes, let none who trust and wait hopefully and look for You be put to shame or be disappointed; let them be ashamed who forsake the right or deal treacherously without cause.  4Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.
5Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do I wait [expectantly] all the day long.  Trust and believe that as we live righteous, and we wait for God, He will not allow shame to come to us.  God Bless and again I say, Wait On The Lord....And grow so you'll be ready to glorify God with your blessing. I love you.

Righteous & Powerful

Are you striving for perfection.  Do you make your best effort to live righteous?  If so then you should know, if you don't already know that your prayers are powerful.  James 5:16 teaches that we should confess our sins to each other and pray for each other so that we may be healed, because the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  Prayer works and is the way to connect with God.  God did it for Elijah and He will do it for us.  God is so awesome and worthy of all our praise.  He left it up to us to whether our prayers are answered or not, whether they are powerful or not.  It all depends on if we are righteous or not.  God loves you.  Be blessed

Things seem so fami-LIAR

Sometimes people get so desperate to find a quick answer to their problems they turn to sorcery.  They call 900 numbers or go to fortune tellers to find Mr./Mrs. Right, to find out if they are dying, to find out if they are going to be rich and some even seek witchcraft to cast spells on people.  Once you open the door up to mediums (occult), they start telling you things that sound familiar.   Things that you want to hear and while you think they are helping you they are only polluting your soul.  This stuff is real people, God wants us to know that He is our God.  He is our go to when we are lonely, when we are sick, when we want to know something about our life, and even when others hurt us; it's all in His Book, The Holy Bible.  We need to take time to read and study the Bible to find out just what the Lord has to say to us personally.  God says in Lev. 19:31 "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritist, for you will be defiled by them.  I am the Lord your God."  That means stay away from that mess, I'm all the God you need.  That's Brenda paraphrasing!!!  Don't open the doors to this pollution, it's a door easy to open from the outside going in, but hard to open from the inside coming out.  The spirit of lies will be so overwhelming that it's hard to see truth because things seem so fami-LIAR.  God is all we need.  I love you.

My Piece on PEACE!!!

There is so much going on in the world right now that we could very easily get all stressed out.  But Jesus is our Peace, He has assured us in His Word that He has already conquered the world. (John 16:33)  God has sent us the Holy Spirit in Jesus name to teach and remind us what 'Thus says the Lord'.  And the peace that Jesus has given us is ours and no one can take it away, and with that same peace we can know that we don't have to be afraid. (John 14:27)  Turn to God if you haven't already, and then trust God people, in the midst of the storm, He is always right there.  Let not your heart be troubled, God loves you and wants you to have peace.  You have to want it too.  This is my piece of advice on PEACE.

Actions Speak Louder.....

Than Words.  We've all heard this thousands of times.  We get into relationships and we say "I love you" but does the actions go with the words.  We easily say that someone is our BFF, but does your actions show that to be true.  And the saints love to say "I'm saved, sanctified, and set free" but does our lifestyle reflect that.  Matt. 8:4 Jesus healed the leper and told him not to say a word, but present your healed body to the priest.  James 2:14-26 is the faith in action scriptures, if we see someone hungry and don't give them food, how have we helped them.  And 1 Timothy 4:11-12 (New International Version, ©2010) reads>

11 Command and teach these things. 12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.  We are to set an example with our lifestyle, not with our mouth only.  So yes I agree Actions Speak Louder Than Words, someone can tell you they love you all day long, but if they are treating you wrong by cursing you, putting their hands on you, and can't be true to you, that's not love.  If you are in a relationship and have decided that you want to do what the bible says and present your body pure to God and they don't understand and walk away, tell them good-bye.  They aren't good enough for you anyways, because they can't respect the God in you, you deserve better.  Good friends don't mind telling the truth, so if you aren't telling your BFF they are wrong for something, you need to evaluate weather you are indeed a good friend.  Now saved, sanctified, and set free Saints, walk the walk so the world can see Jesus in you.  God Bless.

Judge Not!!!

Lest you be judged....Why do we judge any body when the Word of God tells us that we'll be judged for judging. Why? Because it's so easy to see others mess when the biggest mess we can see is right in the mirror.  In Matthew 7:1-3 (NIV) it reads 1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  In the natural, when we have something in our eyes, it's hard to take notice of anything else.  We blink, and blink, and even ask someone else "do you see something in my eye".  But we know for sure that if we don't get that (whatever it is) out our eye we can't focus.  Same goes for the spirit realm.  The only person we need to judge is ourselves, clean up our own mess (the plank in our eyes) ask God's Spirit of compassion to take hold of our minds and hearts.  Then we'll get rid of that judging spirit and we will pray for others and win them over to Christ.  I love you, be blessed.

My Source.....

Is my God.  Not my job.  This is a lesson I had to learn.  I have learned that experience is not always the best way to learn something, another message taught by Pastor McCormick.  People, especially young, love to say "I got to experience it for myself".  I sure wish I had listened to my mama years ago tell me "Trust God, obey His word, and He will make a way."  God wants us to know now that He is the author and finisher of our faith. Heb. 12:2, so when all else fails we know that He is still here.  He wants us to know that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Ps. 46:1.  So while we are going through we don't let our hearts be troubled because we trust in Him and His Living Word.  John 15:5-I am the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abides in me, and I in him, the same bring forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.  I can do nothing without my God, He is my source.

I almost forgot all about the music thing I was working on, things are falling into place.  Gus said we should re-record without music, since I only have the rights to copy right my lyrics and not the music.  Soooooo that's the new plan now, one step at a time.  I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. - Phil 4:13
God Bless, young people listen to the wise, it could save you a lot of pain.

SHOUT OUT TO MY PASTOR

Do you have a good Pastor?  I mean one worthy of double honor?  I do, my Pastor is James F. McCormick III of Friendship Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1501 N. Lincoln Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33805.  My niece (Vicki) and I have discussed it and we think he could very well be one of the best Pastors in the world.  (That’s our opinion and we’re entitled to it)  Nobody’s perfect, but he’s NEVER given me reason to question his God given call.  Not that I have a right to question any Pastor’s call, but that’s another subject.  Pastor McCormick labors so hard to teach us truth, and he does not sugar coat anything for anybody.  He wants us free from the bondage of sin, he’s always encouraging everyone.  That’s how I got my name Woman Highly Favored of God, I was going through a rough time 9 years ago and he said that’s what God laid on his heart to pass on to me.  He also let me know that my sin would take me further than I want to go, keep me longer than I want to stay, and cost me more than I want to pay.  Yeah I know someone else may have said it too, but I heard Pastor JMac say it.  He is a true representative of God; he  encouraged me just this past Sunday to not start projects and quit, and that’s why I am writing today.  So Pastor if you get a chance to read this, just wanted to Holla Back & let you know I love you.  Let your Pastor know you appreciate him/her all year long, not just one month out of the year.  2 Timothy 5:17 (NAS Bible) The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.  It’s Bible people, so go ahead and bless the man/woman of God, the one who watches for your soul.  Come by if you want to experience the anointing of God through this great man of God.  Sunday Worship is at 10:00 a.m. and Bible Study is Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., you are welcome to come anytime the doors are open.
Everything Pastor preaches may not be a real good feel good message, but it's always a real true get free message.  Be encouraged and blessed.

TRUTH HURTS.....

Or does it make you FREE?  The Word of God reads in John 8:32-And you shall know the truth, and the TRUTH shall make you FREE.  Yeah I admit it might be painful to the flesh to become free from the sin that we are living in but honestly the truth can free us from our mess if we let it.  We have to know what's right and what's wrong before we can make a conscious decision to do what's right.  As a mother of 4 I am a believer in "Kids say the darnedest things."  The other day my 8 year old Iyana was talking about her big sister not letting her light shine, so I asked her about her other 2 siblings and she had something to say about them all.  Finally I asked her "Well what about mommy?  Does mommy let her light shine?"  And she said "sometimes" my eyes widened at disbelief and then I asked "What does mommy do that stops her light from shinning"  and she said without missing a beat "you yell too much, sometimes you have yelling issues".  Out of the mouth of babes.  Well if my light isn't shinning at home, how can I let it shine when it comes to others.  Yeah it was a little painful to hear my child say these words but as I thought about it, she was correct.  So now I'm counting down before I blow a gasket.  Ya'll pray with me because I've been yelling a long time now.  I'm sure there's some other truths that I need to come to grips with, but this is the one I decided to share with you.  Think about what truths you need to deal with; now let's pray together that we do better and live free.  God loves you.

This quote has been famous for years now, Malcolm X, Alexander Hamilton, and Dr. Phil have quoted it, and even country singer Aaron Tippin has a song with this quote in the lyrics.  But the Word of God says it best to me in Isaiah 7:9 (NCV)-the latter end reads >If your faith is not strong, you will not have strength enough to last.  Some quotes are good and some are bad, I make it my business to see if I can find Word to back up any quote I say.  We must stand on what we believe in no matter what the world thinks.  People get into arguments all the time and end up changing their mind (falling for anything) because they are weak minded.  Someone very cunning will come and have us change our mind without even trying if we aren't rooted in our faith (standing in our beliefs).  I believe in one God, The Great I Am, EL Shaddai-God Almighty, Jehovah Jireh-My Provider, Elohim-God the Creator, and by believing in God Almighty I believe in His Word.  That means I believe that what God says is sin, is sin, not trying to make things fit for me so I can do what I want to do.  I have to take a stand against temptations all the time, because if I give in it would not please God.  It's so easy to do the wrong thing, it takes a strong person to STAND for what is right.  I am Heaven Bound, I must STAND FOR GOD or I'll FALL FOR EVIL.  Be Blessed, I love ya.

Can't Praise Him If We Don't Please Him

Sunday, the day a lot of people go to a church where they worship together with other believers of God.  Weather you go on Saturday or Sunday or whenever one thing stands true.  If you aren't pleasing God, you are praising in vain.  This is Bible not Brenda.... Psalm 66:17-20 (ESV)
17 I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue.
18If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.
19But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!
We have to let go and forgive past hurts and pains so we can grow, and not only that so that we know that God hears us.  A lot of us are just going through the motions when it comes to praising God, because we refuse to forgive someone who has done us wrong or let go of a sin that we know we are in.  We are only allowing that to hold us in bondage, most of the time the person who has done us wrong has moved on with their lives.  The Bible lets us know that if we have iniquity (sin, wickedness, injustice) in our hearts God will not listen to us.  So not only that we need to make sure we are trying our best to live upright so that we aren't just praising in vain.  We need to do this so that our prayers and praise is not rejected by God, and that we can rest knowing that He hears and loves us.  A sure way to forgive someone  is to pray for them sincerely, asking God to forgive them for hurting you and if they aren't saved ask God to send someone into their lives to usher them into His presence so that they do not miss their chance to have what you have, a chance to make it to The Kingdom.  For the sin in your life, submit to God, resist the Devil and he will flee.  And once we are pleasing God, we can begin praising God.  I love you, God bless you.

IN WITH THE NEW!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone;

In with the new!! The Word of God let's us know in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) that if we are in Christ we are a new creation, the old has gone and Isaiah 43:19 let's us know that God wants to do a new thing in our lives.  Hallelujah!! Then Acts 3:19 says repent of your sins and turn to God so your sins may be wiped away.  Out with the old, in with the new.  God loves us so much and He is there waiting for us to just give in to Him.  Don't waste time, because the Word of God also says that God will laugh at us if we continue to refuse counsel.

Proverbs 1:25-28 (New King James Version)

25 Because you disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
       26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
27 When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
       28 “ Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.

This is real people, don't be fooled into thinking you've got time when you get older.  God is not mocked and ALL of His words are TRUE, not just the ones that sound good to you.  Read your Bible so you'll find the ones that make you do right.
